Did you know that the average IVF cycle can cost anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000?
A single IVF cycle—defined as ovarian stimulation, one egg retrieval and embryo transfer—can range from $15,000 to $30,000, depending on the center and your individual medication needs.
And, the thing is, most people will require more than one retrieval cycle.
While basic IVF costs around $15,000, if you need additional assisted reproductive technologies, the cost will be higher:
› ICSI treatment (where a single sperm is injected directly into an egg) can cost an additional $1,000 to $2,500.
› Genetic testing of embryos, or PGT, starts around $3,000 and go as high as $7,500.
› Embryo freezing, including the initial freezing and storage, may cost an additional few to several hundred dollars. Yearly storage fees range anywhere from $200 to $800 per year.
› If you have frozen embryos from a previous cycle and want to use them, the average cost for a frozen embryo transfer (FET) is about $3,000–$5,000.
› If you plan on using an egg donor, the overall cost will be significantly higher—from $25,000 to $30,000 for one cycle.
› Using a sperm donor costs anywhere from $200 to $3,000 extra, or between $13,000 and $17,000 per IVF cycle.
And these are just the financial commitments.
These don't take into account the emotional and physical toll that these treatments can take. Or the time commitment. Or how hard it can be on your relationship.
So, before going down the rabbit hole of IVF, wouldn’t it feel good to take control of your fertility, on your terms?
Or if you’re already on the IVF journey, don’t you want to know you’re doing everything you possibly can to improve your odds and ensure you get as many high quality eggs as possible so you have a successful embryo transfer, resulting in a healthy, full-term pregnancy?
Everyone who works with her says they wish that they had met her sooner.
"In my first phone call with Sarah, she identified a problem my fertility clinic and two other doctors missed, and I got pregnant 2.5 weeks later. Sarah takes the time to analyze everything in her patient's lifestyle and medical history. She knows what to look for, but she also takes great care not to overlook anything. Not only did she help me get pregnant the first time, she also helped me get pregnant the second time after I tried on my own and had two miscarriages. Again, it was a simple solution to a hormone imbalance that my OBGYN not only missed – she didn't even test for. I have recommended Sarah to many (7 by my count) friends and family, and they all got pregnant within a matter of months. Everyone who works with her says they wish that they had met her sooner. If you're on the fence, give her a call. You have nothing to lose, and she is way, WAY more affordable and easier than a fertility clinic."
